Summer’s not over yet! If you’re still looking for places to go and food to eat (we all are), then check out these places in Brooklyn that offer outdoor seating and refreshing treats that are sure to make this summer even better.

1. L&B Spumoni Gardens

It's an obvious choice, but that's why it's on here. I’m sure that you’ve all heard about the pizza from here, but there’s more! At the middle window, be sure to pick up an ice or ice cream. My favorites: orange swirl ice cream, chocolate and lemon ice together in one cup (trust me) and a Spumoni ice.

2. Panino Rustico

Panini’s, crepes and more … Oh my! Sit inside or outside and experience Brooklyn while chowing down on an everything panini with prosciutto, goat cheese, arugula and fig glaze. Secret: That’s my favorite, you should get it too and that's what is in the picture below. When you’re done with your lunch or dinner, get a Nutella-filled crepe and espresso to end your night.

3. Ample Hills Creamery

Rooftop seating with a city view and all the ice cream flavors you could imagine. Nothing says summer more than that does. Whether you want the classic vanilla or a wacky flavor such as The Munchies (pretzel-infused ice cream with clusters of Ritz crackers, potato chips, pretzels and mini M&Ms) you won’t be disappointed.

4. Vegas Diner

Stumble in here after a night out in Bay Ridge. If you’re looking for diner food to satisfy your late night cravings, then this is for you. Get pancakes at 3 p.m. and chicken fingers and 4 a.m. No one’s going to judge you because they’re all in there for the same reason that you are.

5. Sundaes by the Park

It’s Marine Park’s ice cream shop and it’s where you want to go. If you ever find yourself strolling through the park, Sundaes by the Park is located just a few blocks over. Cool off with a chocolate shake, vanilla soft serve or some frozen yogurt. It’s summer: you eat as much ice cream as you want to eat.
