Everyone has certain things that they can't help but care about, whether it be big or small. But after being let down and pushed around for so long, you really lose your energy and despise most things. Consider it a blessing in disguise.
1. You have no filter
While having a conversation, you are most likely not even listening - you're just waiting for the other person to finish whatever it is they're saying so you can voice your opinion (which is most likely rude and sarcastic). But, it's okay because you genuinely do not care.
2. You avoid friendly faces in public
Let's face it, before leaving the house you pray you don't run into anybody you know. Most days you just do not have the energy to put on a fake smile or use a fake laugh. You didn't even want to put on pants.
3. You have a list of excuses to call off of work
You know you need to stop spending money and save more but when you are scheduled to work, you think off all the possible things that you can say in order to not go in for your shift (when in reality, you don't have anything else going on you just would rather sleep).
4. The "Do Not Disturb" feature on your phone is your best friend
A lot of times, you realize that you're lacking on your social media posts - but that's okay because you don't care enough to scroll through Twitter or post a picture on Instagram. People are lucky if they even get a text back the same day.
5. You hate advice and life tips from others
You know eventually you are going to have to get your life together but that really isn't anyone else's business. Their opinions don't do anything but bug you.
