What draws people towards Korean Dramas, and what's so great about them anyway? Korean Dramas' draw is in when it comes to innocently playing off romance, comedy, and awesome show intros and the way they wear their makeup, and even the Korean language itself. From a K-Drama fan to you, here are five signs you're a K-Drama addict!
1. Waiting for the next episode
Let's see, so, I just finished watching another episode that came out today. That means I have to wait another week before the next one comes out. WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY LIFE UNTIL THEN?
2. Second Lead Syndrome
Feeling sorry for the Second Lead because you know he doesn't get the girl, but then you're like, "It's okay Oppa. I'll take you!"
3. You pick up certain words and habits
You think we don't learn anything from watching Korean Dramas? Well, think again! Not only do we pick up Korean mannerisms and habits, but we also learn words as well. You know you're a K-Drama Addict when you've started adding words like Oppa ("older brother"), Kamsahamnida ("thank you"), Jo-Wa-Hae ("I like you"), Mianhae ("I'm sorry"), and more to your Korean vocabulary list. You may even find yourself slurping noodles loudly, bowing to show respect to elders if you visit South Korea, or even touching elbow joints when handing or accepting something to be polite.
4. The face you make when they finally get together
YASSSS!!!! Well FINALLY! It took you both too long to realize you're meant for each other.
5. When your drama ends
When you finish the whole drama and stare off into space contemplating the whole series, and how much it made you happy and sad all the same time. After you're done it's like a part of you is missing. And you wish you could start it all over again. That's when you start to realize you don't have any idea what to watch next because you were taken on a roller coaster of emotions. SERIOUSLY. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?
