If you are anything like me and my best friend, then you know you both share a special bond. The relationship goes far beyond what words could explain. You two just get each other. In the famous words from Grey's Anatomy, you are each other's "person." Me and my best friend often joke that we are actually each other's soul mates, not just best friends While there are many signs that could prove that you are truly each other's soulmate, here are a few.

1. You have your own song. There is one song that you two both know with all your heart. As soon as it comes on, you are both transforming into professional singers. The car becomes a stage, and the spotlight turns on. For me and my best friend, "I Will Always Love You" is our song. We have committed to sing this at our weddings, and every moment in between.

2. You go on dates and pay for each other. You are always going out to eat, and have absolutely no problem with paying for each other. You always have a running tab to keep up with what you have spent on each other, even though you both don't care to be paid back.

3. You compliment each other like significant others would. I have no problem telling my best friend that she looks flawless that day. We also have no problem with being brutally honest with each other if we are looking a tad past homeless. You just have to be real with each other, and help them out when you can. You always want them to look their best, even if you don't.

4. You will never get tired of each other. You can spend hours on end with them and never once get annoyed. You both know how each other works, and when alone time is needed. There is no problem with not talking and just being there. You will never get tired of their presence in your life.

5. The bond you share is unique and never ending. We often joke that we have the same brain. We are in sync 75 percent of the time. We just get each other. You don't have to use words have the time. The bond you have is truly special and will always hold a place in your life.

Carrie Bradshaw said it best, "Maybe our girlfriends are our soulmates and guys are just people to have fun with.”

Thank you best friend! I love you!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
