Top 5 TV Shows to Binge Watch on Netflix
We’re halfway through Summer 2016 and we’re slowly finishing all of our shows on Netflix. From personal experiences, I’ve pretty much finished every show possible on Netflix so now it’s time to move on to less popular shows. I’ve searched high and low for the best shows and here’s a list of my top 5 I think every person should watch when they run out of popular shows.
- Worst Cooks in America
This show features two brilliant chefs, Bobby Flay and Anne Burrell who take on the worst cooks in America. They teach them how to cook the basics as well as teach them how to cook 5 star restaurant quality food. This show has been on the food network but doesn’t get enough recognition. This show is so funny and genuine and can be watched in a whole day (believe me, I’ve done it).
2. Orange is the New Black
Ok, I know a lot of people watch this show, but lately I’ve been hearing a lot of people talking and saying they don’t like the idea of showing that prison can be “fun” or that the show is just too boring when they’ve never given it a chance. This show is funny but also can be very serious and gives a lot of life lessons. Give it a try if you haven’t watched it yet and if you have, watch it again!
3. American Horror Story

Since I don’t have time during the week to watch this show on TV, I catch up on Netflix (also because I can’t wait week after week to see what happens). Netflix has four seasons you can watch, adding the fifth one later on this year. If I had to choose, Season 3-Coven- would have to be my favorite one. And the best part about AHS: you don’t have to watch the seasons in order! Each season has different characters as well as different storylines… but not to worry! Evan Peters is in every season (;
What’s better than one Lorelai Gilmore? TWO! Someone recommended this show to me after I finished Gossip Girl and I didn’t know how I was going to like it. One month later, I was completely done with the show and wanting more. Thankfully, Netflix decided to bring back four mini movies that will premiere later this year and I’m so happy I got to watch the original episodes before the new ones. If you can, watch it. It’s hilarious as well as many other mixed emotions.
5. Undercover Boss
This is a show that makes you want to keep your crappy job just incase the CEO of the company just so happens to walk into your work. This show makes you wonder what really goes on behind closed doors of factories, restaurants, etc. It also shows that there are genuine people in this world. Tissues are a must need if you’re watching this show. Or maybe it’s just because I cry about everything happy or sad. You be the judge.
