Sometimes more chilling than the crime itself, is the last meal that a killer requested before being put to death. From the most bizarre items to nothing at all, these meals may shock you, alarm you, or you may even relate to them. This is a list of 5 of the most infamous serial killers and their final meals.

1. John Wayne Gacy

John Wayne Gacy was convicted of sexual assault and the murder of 33 young men that he buried under his home. Gacy would also use his "Pogo the Clown" costume while committing his crimes. His childhood is said to be the reason for his homicidal behavior, due to physical and mental abuse from his father. Before he was executed by lethal injection, his last meal that he requested was a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken, a pound of strawberries, French fries, and 12 fried shrimp. An off-putting meal for a very twisted individual.

2. Ronnie Lee Gardner

Convicted of everything in the book, Ronnie Lee Gardner was heavily into drugs and running from anywhere where he was told what to do. Gardner was convicted of two counts of murder, burglary, and robbery, his prison presence was widely known because of stabbing other inmates and smuggling in drugs. The final meal that we requested before he was executed by firing squad, was a lobster tail, steak, apple pie, vanilla ice cream, and 7-up. He requested to eat this all while watching the Lord of the Rings movies.

3. Timothy McVeigh

One of the most ruthless American terrorists, Timothy McVeigh was the mastermind behind the Oklahoma City bombing that killed 168 people and injuring another 650. Once his parents divorced and his fascination with guns became stronger, he started to speak out about governmental injustice and became angrier about cases involving the FBI. This lead him to plan the attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal building in Oklahoma, which later lead to his arrest. Before being executed by lethal injection, McVeigh requested his last meal be 2 pints of mint chocolate chip ice cream

4. Allen Lee Davis

Responsible for killing Nancy Weiler, a pregnant mother, and her two daughters, Allen Lee "Tiny" Davis was put to death by the electric chair. The scene of the crime was something out of a horror movie, Weiler was beaten beyond recognition and her two children were shot. While in the electric chair, Davis's nose began to bleed due to his profound weight of 350 pounds, leaving his shirt covered in blood once the execution was complete. His last meal requested was half a pound of fried shrimp, fried clam strips, lobster tail, fried potatoes, A&W root beer, and half a loaf of garlic bread.

5. Ángel Nieves Díaz

Convicted for the murder of a strip club manager and the kidnapping of the fellow employees, Ángel Nieves Díaz was a ruthless killer. Heavily into drugs and other criminal activity, Díaz was sentenced to death by lethal injection, which later was found to be botched in the process but still completed. His final meal was nothing at all. When asked what should be served he denied consuming anything. Normally when a final meal isn't requested, the inmate usually is served the normal prison food, but Díaz denied this as well, leaving him with an empty plate.

All of these men certainly got what they deserved. It's fascinating to see their last meal of choice and relating it back to the crimes that they committed. For some, it showed their childlike behavior, nerdy side, and for others, their willingness to never surrender.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
