Not even a week after its debut, “Fuller House” is renewed for a second season. A lot of people have mixed reviews about the show, but there are some who absolutely love it. I’m the second option and I binged “Fuller House” the day it came out and finished it within six hours, and I love every minute of it. It was quirky and brought back so many memories, so it’s no surprise that I’m beyond excited for the second season. The first season left us with so many questions and I hope that they’re answered in the second season. Here are the things that I expect and want from the upcoming season (Warning: Spoilers):
1. Who does DJ choose?
This left everyone confused. DJ was supposed to choose her high school love Steve or her co-worker Matt. They’re both incredibly good-looking, but Steve brings us comfort whereas Matt is just the newbie. I’m secretly hoping she chooses Steve because the pair were goals during our childhood. Matt wouldn’t be a terrible choice either, but Team Steve all the way.
2. More Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky moments.
Jesse and Becky are the ultimate relationship goals and you’re lying if you don’t agree. They’re more than perfect for each other and are a prime example of what true love looks like. They had adorable moments during the first season, but I wouldn’t oppose to him singing to her again.
3. Do Kimmy and Fernando ever get married?
During the season finale, Kimmy and Fernando are supposed to get married while Jesse and Becky renew their vows, but Kimmy backs out because she doesn’t want to leave DJ’s house. Do they ever get married again or are they just engaged for the rest of time?
4. Will Michelle make an appearance?
This one probably won’t happen as the Olsen twins didn’t come back for the first season, but a girl can dream. The Olsen twins made “Full House” completely and “Fuller House” was missing that ounce of cuteness that was Michelle Tanner. Who knows, maybe they’ll come back since there’s a new season.
5. Will Stephanie finally find love?
Stephanie revealed a huge secret during the first season: She can’t have children. Later on in the season, she starts dating a Major League Baseball player but breaks up with him because he starts playing badly. Will Stephanie ever find love or will she just be the single aunt for the rest of her life?
So, Netflix, these are the requirements I have for the second season of “Fuller House." It’s not much to ask for, just some simple stuff. Continue with the classic jokes from Danny and Joey and make sure Jesse looks good (when does he not). Don’t leave us hanging again like you did after the first season.
