So, when I discovered Plato's closet, I knew that I had died and gone to fashion heaven.
If you've never heard of Plato's closet, it's basically the greatest place on earth, next to Chipotle and Disney World. It's a store worth talking about, and I don't want to get too into what it's about just in the intro! The entire stock of clothing that you see in Plato's Closet stores are entirely from people like you! From shirts, dresses, shoes, and jewelry, you're bound to find something you like in the store! Basically, you bring in your clothing and accessories that have been gently used and have been in stores in the past year and a half. After going through what they feel that will sell in their stores, they'll give you cash on the spot! It's as simple as that!
2. Every store is unique!
From the employees to the clothing being sold, not every store will sell the exact same clothes, and that's okay! This presents the opportunity to jump from store to store picking up different fashion items that suit your taste!
3. Designer clothing at a cheap price!
Ever wanted a pair of Steve Madden sandals priced as little as eight dollars? Well, now's your chance! Plato's sells their clothing for about 70% less of what they were originally sold for in department stores!
