The Christmas season means that it’s time to watch all of your favorite Christmas movies! I have many favorites, but my favorite this season has been Love Actually, a 2003 British romantic comedy. It might not be like the traditional classic Christmas movies, but it will definitely put you in the Christmas spirit! Here’s why it’s one of the best Christmas movies.

1. The cast is amazing.

Seriously, it’s like they rounded up all of the best British actors and made them make Christmas magic. Hello? Alan Rickman and Colin Firth make the movie.

2. British humor.

It’s dry; it’s crude; it’s hilarious. (You might not want to watch this movie with small children).

3. Adorable dialogue.

The love story between Jamie and Aurélia is perfect. He learns Portuguese for her! I’m not crying; you’re crying.

4. Thomas Brodie-Sangster is the definition of cute.

How could you not love this small child? Also he’s bold as heck.

5. The Christmas pageant is hilarious.

Seriously, there’s a kid dressed as an octopus. Genius.
