We are all unhappy with the expected primary candidates. We know. Whether you are for Trump and despise Hillary or for Bernie and despise Trump, the thought of moving has probably crossed your mind. Canada, Switzerland, Mexico, Thailand, whatever it may be. Do not even say Alaska or Hawaii... Those are still part of our country. Well I am here to give you the good news, that will not be necessary.

1. The United States is a democracy.

Defined by the Merriam Webster dictionary as, "a form of government in which people choose leaders by voting" or "an organization or situation in which everyone is treated equally and has equal rights."

2. Not one single elected president has the entirety to 'ruin' our country.

Never been done, never will be done.

3. Checks and Balances system. Google it if you have forgotten since your 10th grade government class.

We have got the Executive branch (president), the Judicial branch (supreme court) and the Legislative branch (congress). They 'check' each other and keeps things in order.

4. Congress has just as much power to override the president as the president does vetoing a bill.

Please open up that textbook. I am begging you..

5. You are American, so stand by YOUR country. Whether you were born here or not, you are here. So do not run away from these issues because they will not go away.

This is not the time to actually plan your move to Canada or Fiji, you matter the most right now. You should vote for who you believe will do the best job for the next four years. I understand it is difficult but at the end of the day, we are all in this together. So moving to whatever country you so desire, will not fix it, if anything it will make things worse. I know most of you are not actually moving to a different country... So for now enjoy the ride and lets stick together.
