I have a serious problem: I am literally addicted to buying t-shirts. As I have grown older I have realized that my "style" is really just wearing the same five colors (white, black, grey, maroon, and hunter green) in different t-shirt styles. V-necks, long t-shirts, front pockets, cozy material, you name it, I've got it. I wear t-shirts like it's my job. Some people just truly enjoy it! If you're anything like me, you can relate to the following reasons why wearing basic tees are the best.
1. T-shirts are cheap!
You can fill your shopping cart with a ton of t-shirts for the same cost as a pair of jeans and shoes.
2. You can find them anywhere.
Literally all clothing stores sell them. Some of my personal fave places to get them include Loft, Pacsun, and Target (duh).
3. You can dress them up or wear them down.
T-shirts are so versatile. You can wear a long t-shirt with leggings and converse, or a t-shirt with jeans and boots. T-shirts have so much potential and are a key piece in your wardrobe.
4. They are incredibly comfortable.
Ugh, what's not to love about an article of clothing that doesn't itch or pull too tight or dig into your shoulders?? T-shirts, whether flow or fitted, are always comfortable for work and play.
5. They are versatile.
Pick the right kind of t-shirt and you could be able to do anything from hike in it, to wear it to class, to sleep in it.
T-shirts are pretty underrated as far as articles of clothing go. I promise if you build a small collection now, you will thank me later. T-shirt lovers, unite!
