5 Reasons You Should Be Watching Drew Monson On Youtube
Drew Monson

If you are an avid YouTube watcher you may know the name Drew Monson, or as he is most commonly known, mytoecold. This past week I've been binge watching all of Drew's videos and started wondering...why isn't everyone watching this guy? His videos are the perfect mixture of funny and relatable. So in case you don't know who this person is, here are 5 reasons you should be watching Drew Monson's YouTube videos!

1. He Is Relatable

Most of Drews videos involve him telling embarrassing stories or talking about being sad, which makes Drew very very relatable! It's nice to watch a video that leaves you feeling a little less alone in the world, which is definitely how you will feel after watching one of his videos.

2. He Gets Real

Drew doesn't post meaningless tag videos, he talks about real stuff like his struggles with depression and suicide. He isn't afraid to talk about hard topics, which is a beautiful and wonderful thing, especially when so many people are dealing with the same things.

3. His Friendship With Shane Dawson

Drew's best friend is none other than Shane Dawson, another YouTuber. Drew and Shane's hilarious collab videos are enough to make you laugh until you cry and wish you had a friendship like this. Just watching the videos they do together makes you feel warm and happy, like one day someone will love me the way Shane and Drew love each other...

4. He Can Play The Piano

Every video of Drews ends with him playing the piano and a remix of something someone said in the video. If that isn't enough to make you hit the subscribe button then I don't know what is! It's funny and beautiful at the same time--what more could you want?

5. He Says What Everyone Is Thinking

Last but certainly not least, Drew isn't afraid to be honest, and say what we are all thinking. Unlike some people who will be fake, Drew doesn't care. He is always himself and always keeps it real.

Thank you, Drew! Whenever I am sad or having a tough time I can always turn on one of your videos and instantly I feel better. You inspire me in ways you will probably never know. Thank you for being you!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
