I know things get crazy sometimes, and maybe I don't have time to tell each and every one of you how much I care, but I do.
1. Thank you for the long nights studying
I hated the history class I was in, but you encouraged me to go every day. One of you sat next to me and helped me stay awake when the class was boring while another stayed up till 1:00 a.m. and quizzed me until I knew every answer like the back of my hand. Thank you for encouraging me to do better in school and for helping me stay motivated during exam week.
2. Thank you for helping me with my self-concept.
Sure, sometimes you tell me that my makeup is too dark, or that I need to do something with my hair, but you all believe I am a beautiful person. You all helped me realize that I am beautiful inside and out, and you made me confident in the way I look. You shaped me into the person I always wanted to be.
3. Thank you for helping me get through recruitment.
Thanks for curling my hair, for teaching me how to correctly apply blush, but for also reminding me that recruitment isn't all about the way you look on the outside. While one of you sat with me while I was stressed and thought that I couldn't get through the week, another one of you came to me seeking advice. Thank you for being there for me, but also reminding me that I am there for you as well.
4. Thank you for all of the memories.
From the long drives listening to music to the nights where we just watched movies in the chapter room, you all make up my favorite memories from college so far. I will always remember the life chats, the daily lunches, and those memories that are simply irreplaceable.
5. Thank you all for being my sisters.
I was seeking sisterhood when I came to college, and I found more than I ever could imagine. You all accept me for who I am, and I want to remind you all that I accept you just the same. Whether we talk every day, or I have just had one conversation with you, I love you all. Sisterhood is so important to me, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
