5 Reasons Why Pineapples Are Awesome!
Impressions at Home

Pineapples have been my obsession for quite sometime now and I am known for my pineapple obsession. I think it's pretty cool because every time someone who knows me sees a pineapple they think of me. That sounds very self centered but it's just nice to be thought about sometimes. My goal for this article is to show why I think pineapples are so awesome.

1. Pineapples taste amazing and mostly anything flavored pineapple taste amazing.

It's a well know proven fact from myself that pineapples do taste amazing. Fresh pineapples are the best. It can have its effects though if you eat too much it can cause your mouth to break out but it's so worth it. My mom's favorite snack is a good ole pineapple sandwich. There is so many things you can put pineapple in or flavor it with. Pineapple sherbet is my favorite and pineapple mango juice is also very good.

2. Pineapples burn fat and they’re great for sinuses.

Pineapples contain a very important enzyme called bromelain, which is found in the stem and within the juice of the pineapple. This is enzyme is known to metabolize protein, which has a lot of health benefits and one of those include a flatter abdomen. Now pineapples don't magically take the fat away but paired with good exercise routines it does help burn them pounds away.

Some studies show that eating pineapples can be an effective home remedy to fighting those nasty sinuses. The enzyme bromelain helps breaks down mucus. Eating fresh pineapples helps with sinus infections. So let us eat away especially when those nasty sinuses bothering us! Thank God for pineapples and the enzyme bromelain!

3. Pineapples make for good decorations. They look great in the kitchen, bathrooms, or even a beach house.

Who doesn’t love a good pineapple center piece or a nice pineapple tooth brush holder? There is so much you can with pineapples decorations. Bathrooms and Kitchens are the most popular when coming to decorating your house with fruits or veggies. I wouldn’t go overboard then you really do look like a crazy pineapple obsessed person.

4. Pineapples are very hipster this year and they look good on any piece of clothing, purse, phone case, car decals, and whatever else you can think of to put pineapples on.

Every young girl I see usually either has pineapple phone case, pineapple picture on her Instagram, or at least just something pineapple. Everywhere you look there is a pineapple, some ugly but some so cute!

5. More importantly Pineapples remind us to Stand Tall, Wear a Crown, and to be Sweet on the Inside.

The main reason I obsessed over pineapples so much is because they symbolize something so wonderful. It reminds you to keep your head held high and to not let that crown fall off and to always be sweet. Also they look cute on almost anything and taste amazing! Who couldn’t love a fruit that can burn fat, fight sinuses, and reminds you to stay sweet?!

If you are not in love or at least interested in pineapples after reading my reasons then we just can’t be friends, I am kidding. There are so many great fruits but not as great and hipster as a pineapple! If you got anything from this I hope it was to stand tall, wear a crown, and to be sweet on the inside; that’s one of the best things you can take from something.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
