Do you love coffee? Me too! I have been drinking coffee for a long time! I don't even remember the first time I ever had coffee because I've been around it for so long. Growing up, my grandparents and parents drank coffee, so it was only a natural thing to want to drink it. I know many people who think coffee tastes gross, but I think it all depends on what you add to it and the brand you buy. If you love coffee, you might understand the following reasons on why I love coffee:
1. Maturity
Because I started drinking coffee so young, it gave me this sense of maturity. I felt very grown up compared to my friends because they didn't like coffee.
2. So Many Choices
Although some people may think coffee can only be made one way, that is not true! There are so many brands of different kinds of coffee. They all taste different. Not to mention the option of iced or hot! I love both! Plus, it's not only just creamer/sugar or straight black. There are many coffee combinations with multiple spices and flavors. This makes my heart happy!
3. It's Addictive
So, at this point in my life I've come to realize that coffee is quite addictive. I could drink coffee three times a day and not be disappointed, but that probably would not be the best health wise. Although, coffee lovers, if you don't tell my parents, I won't tell yours!
4. Positive Mood
When I drink coffee, it puts me in such a good mood. I have a "spring in my step" and feel like I can take on the world in a single day. Of course, it makes me slightly hyper, which can cause problems if I'm doing something that requires a lot of focus, but it's worth it!
5. It Brings People Together
I have had multiple conversations with various kinds of people and most of the time I can bring up coffee and we have that interest in common. It's also a good way to go on a small date with someone just to get to know them a little. I think your favorite coffee drink says something about you as a person. Just kidding!
In conclusion, coffee is a beautiful thing. It is beautiful enough to write an article on and it will always have a special place in my heart.
