6 Reasons I'm Ecstatic For "Finding Dory"
Disney Pixar

I've been talking about this movie in anticipation for months now (just ask any of my close friends), and on Friday, June 17th, my eagerness will finally end! After 13 years of waiting, Disney Pixar's "Finding Dory" is swimming its way to the big screen. No matter what age you are, it seems like "Finding Nemo" has been one of everyone's favorite animated family films. What's not to love about a single father clownfish with a spacey blue tang best friend exploring the Great Barrier Reef to find his son? There's plenty of reasons to get excited for this sequel -- these are just a few of mine!

1. Re-living all the memories.

It's been a true wave to ride growing up with such amazing Pixar movies over the years! Although some are favorites over others, overall, the consensus stays the same. I am totally up for balling my eyes out given all the feels I'll be experiencing when the soundtrack starts to play in the first scene. Remember Nemo's school friends who tried to touch the butt, obnoxious seagulls, and the infamous shark AA meeting? How could you not be excited for more legendary scenes!

2. Becoming bilingual.

Who else can speak whale?! I'm a bit rusty since it's been a while, but I'm sure I can brush up on the language a bit before the premiere! This is one of the classics from Finding Nemo and I'm thrilled to get to hear it again! It's all about the over-exaggerated facial expressions and an echoey fluctuating voice.

3. Darla 2.0?

I'm curious as to what antagonist Dory will endure in the new film but I would be just as happy if Darla made a comeback! I've heard that the location for Finding Dory is different than Sydney, Australia, but you never know! Darla could be studying abroad somewhere as a coincidence! Pixar never disappoints, but Darla sure is hard to beat!

4. Falling in love with new characters.

Everyone is looking forward to see which characters are coming back and which ones are making their debut! I've read that Gill, Flo, Nemo, Mr. Ray, Squirt, and Crush are reappearing, which is great that they're incorporating some of the older cast with the new ones. There's new wildlife that will be introduced, such as sea lions, Dory's childhood whale shark friend, a beluga whale, Hank the cranky octopus, and more that will add a fresh spin to the story as well! Dory's parents will also emerge, so I expect the tears to flow with that homecoming!

5. The reunion with Mr. Grumpy Gills.

I am so ready to hear the bickering between Marlin and Dory again! They got into some of the oddest scenarios last time, and with their strengths of Dory's kindness and Marlin's wits, they're the perfect pair! Hopefully, the deathly jellyfish field and killer angler fish encounter won't happen a second time, but I'm sure there's some trouble ahead! Pixar always gives audiences a lesson of family by exploring the dynamics of relationships and with that comes a sense of compassion the audience can always take away. Marlin, Nemo, and Dory have showed that warmth and love continuously, and I doubt this film will be much different!

6. Ellen Degeneres.

She is a comedic angel sent from heaven above. Without her, Dory would not exist! It's awesome how one of the world's favorite ambassadors of acceptance, kindness, and generosity is also an inspiring fish! She's helped people in need and giving plenty of us belly aches full of laughter, just like Dory! Just keep swimming, Ellen!

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
