Fast food is everywhere you turn. No, seriously it's everywhere. For a lot of us, fast food's the only thing we eat, while others cringe at the thought of stepping into a restaurant that's not really...a restaurant. There's a seemingly endless amount of fast food places that you can choose from — McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, etc. The list literally goes on. But there's one fast food restaurant that isn't like the others.
Yep, you guessed it: Chick-fil-A. Now, I know for a lot of people Chick-fil-A is mainly a southern thing, despite the fact that they're beginning to pop up in places outside of the south. But that's not the point. The point is that if Chick-fil-A isn't your favorite fast food restaurant, then you need to re-evaluate every single one of your life choices right now...and if you needed any reasons for it to be your favorite, well have no fear. Get your chicken nuggets ready kids, because I'm about to school you.
1. The chicken nuggets.
Look at these perfectly golden brown nuggets of absolute perfection. If you're not a sandwich person, you can go for these tasty little snacks in an 8-count or if you're feeling ambitious, you can go for the 12-count. Either way, you'll find your purpose in life after biting into these.
2. The milkshakes.
A regular person might look at this picture and simply nod. But a Chick-fil-A lover sees this picture of these milkshakes from Chick-fil-A and simply thinks how majestic they are. These milkshakes are spun to make the angels above sing aloud. They have your basic flavors like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and cookies and cream. But they also have other flavors like peach, mocha and peppermint chocolate chip for the holidays. So blessed.
3. The condiments.
Look at the variety! The organization! The sheer beauty? Isn't it amazing? Do you see this type of love and care put into condiments at any other fast food restaurant that is not Chick-fil-A? I didn't think so. From the BBQ sauce all the way to the Polynesian sauce, Chick-fil-A understands that condiments are worthy of love, too.
4. The breakfast.
Do you see this picture? It has a ray of sunshine in the back not to represent that this means breakfast. No. It's to represent that a Chick-fil-A breakfast will prepare you for a new day and make the sunshine happen in this cold dark world. Duh. Look, what more is there to say? The chicken biscuits are heavenly and perfectly brushed with butter, the tater tots are deliciously greasy and the chicken mini's are the key to world peace. Who wouldn't want to eat that?
5. The lemonade.
You already know.
6. "My pleasure."
Taking the glorious food, spotless restaurants and amazing beverages out of the equation, Chick-fil-A has the best employees around. With every grin, friendly tone and "My pleasure," any customer is bound to feel welcome.
Chick-fil-A is a Southern staple, and even though it's just a fast food restaurant, I can't even begin to count how many memories I've had simply because of the chain and the normal part of my routine that it's become. Chick-fil-A is not only a fast food restaurant, but a staple of my childhood and my adulthood that will never fade.
Now go out there and treat yourself to a a large lemonade and a 12-count nugget for me.
