" Your planner is the ultimate weapon to success ".
Its back to school time again a were all dreading the next 4 months of all nighters, tests, finals, homework etc. What if I told you that this semester doesn't have to be another anxiety-filled semester? Its really simple actually, utilize some tools. Human beings have been using tools to do practically everything from cooking potatoes to launching the first men into space. Just remember the tools are nothing without person using them. So without further a do here are the 5 apps that I use daily to get shit done.
This is literally the plan to my life. I put my classes on here, when to study, downtime, workouts, tests, festivals, events, lunch with friends, etc. on here. I prefer this over a paper planner only because I can use this app on my phone and it gives me push notifications 10 minutes before every event so I don't forget.
2. Quizlet
I only started using this app when I got into college and it has been a lifesaver. Quizlet is great for learning vocabulary fast and easily. Its great for sociology, law, accounting, language , etc. I didn't find it particularly helpful with math but mathway.com is a great website for learning how to do calculus, algebra, etc. step by step.
3. Habitica
If you love video games your going to love this one. To put it simply Habitica is a RPG based to-do list. You gain experience point for doing things on your list but if you neglect them you will lose experience and die (lose a level). You can also invite your friends and hold each other accountable for the work that they need to get done.
4. Pomodrone
Pomodrone is based on the Pomodoro technique, which is basically which breaks work sessions into 30 minute sessions and a quick 5 minute break. I was a little skeptical of this app a first but it has done wonders for my focus, in fact I'm using it right now to write this article!
5. OneNote
The best journaling app ever made in my option. I write down all my notes on pen and paper and then I transfer them over to one note. Not only does this help me remember what I learned in class it easily saves all the notes I've written in it so when its time to revise them for finals, there all in one place.
These apps are great but they will only make your life better if you utilize them properly.
