We've all been there—there's not enough money in your account, and you still haven't gotten anything that you need or want for the week.

If we knew where to shop, we would know where and where not to spend our money. You should definitely consider going to these places so that you can save money in the long-run.

1. Buying food is very important on the list of things to do each week. Instead of going to a fast-food restaurant, go to a grocery store. By doing this, you will already save tons of money. If you can't afford to get a membership at Costco or Sam's Club I suggest going to Smith's. You can get your own rewards card for free. With that comes savings on food and gas.

2. If you are looking for some cute workout clothes but can't afford Nike or Under Armour, Fallas is a solid, go-to place. Everything that I have bought from there is almost always under $10 and has lasted a really long time.

3. Plato's closet is a place where you can buy and sell clothes. So, if you want a new dress but don't have the money for it, go to Plato's Closet and sell some items you don't really wear anymore.

4. Buffalo Exchange is an alternative to Plato's Closet. You can sell your clothes to them as well. Buffalo Exchange is big on helping the environment. Instead of just throwing your clothes in the trash, you are selling them so that they can be reused. So, when you go there, you can feel good about buying or selling clothes.

5. Last, but not least, is Target! Now, Target can be pretty expensive if you don't know what days to go on. Every day of the week, the employees go through different areas of the store to check for new markdowns. On Mondays, they mark down baby/kids clothing, stationary items and electronics. On Tuesdays, it's domestics, food and grocery, women's clothing and pet care. On Wednesdays, it's toys, mens clothing, HBA and lawn and garden. On Thursday, it's house ware, shoes, lingerie, sporting goods, music, movies, books, decor and luggage. Finally, on Friday it's auto, cosmetics, hardware and jewelry. So, going to Target on these days to buy these things can save you tons of money. These five places have saved me tons of money, and they could help you save money too. Being in college is hard. You have to blow your money on books and tuition and rent and when you have money left over it can be hard to decide what you are going to spend it on and where. These five places have made it easier for me to save money and now I have just enough to feel comfortable again. Hopefully, if you don't like my ideas, you can find your own go to places to help you save money so that you don't have to be the broke college kid anymore.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
