Summer is quickly and reluctantly coming to an end–early morning bike rides and night runs will start to stall as Pumpkin Spice Lattes and oversized sweaters appear just around the corner. But why should you lose the summer bod you put so much hard work into these past three months??!! The BEST way to save your summer body is to put in time at the gym, and whats a better way to get to the gym than an adorable (and super cheap) outfit??
1. Target
Target’s workout section is STELLAR with their large array of sports bras and tank tops. They also have a great selection of winter workout clothes, which will come in handy later on this season when the temperature dips. It will make it a LOT easier to stick to your chilly November runs. My go-to items are fleeces and running leggings. Some of my favorites are their C9 Champion Women’s Training Jacket for $22.49 and the C9 Champion Women’s Performance Legging in Dark Grey for $20.99. **AND** Target has free shipping if you spend over $25.00!!
2. Old Navy
Personally, I get almost ALL my workout clothes from Old Navy. They have the greatest selection of compression pants in SO many different colors and patterns, and they have tank tops and sports bras in almost every shade. The compression tights I get there are on average $24.00 and look JUST like the black leggings from Lulu. They also hold up REALLY well, which is a necessity with all the wear and tear I put on my leggings during my workouts. These are two of my leggings that are both from Old Navy, but look straight from a high class yoga studio.
Everyone knows that Forever has some of the cutest clothes for the cheapest prices, but the workout section at my local Forever 21 is absolutely unreal. I buy their shirts, leggings, bras, and sweatshirts (essentially everything); however, these clothes are so cute that I actually feel bad wearing them to the gym, so I’m mostly likely sporting these to Starbucks. My favorite Forever 21 wears are High Impact Racerfront Sports Bra for $14.90 and the Cutout Racerback tank for $9.90 (!!!!!! $9.90 !!!!!!).
4. Kohls
Now I know, it’s a store you associate with your grandpa and endless coupons, but Kohls has some of the best name brand workout clothes in the game. Every pair of Nike shorts I own has come from Kohls (and yes, my grandpa DOES cut me out coupons for Kohls but I get, like, 50 percent off every time). My personal favorites are 10K Dri-Fit Running Shorts and the Dri-Fit Reversible Shorts from Nike, both at $30.00; perfect for running, hiking, biking or lounging around the house.
5. Marshalls
I am almost positive that if I were to be forced to only shop at one place for the rest of my life, it would be Marshalls. They have top-notch shoes, dresses, home and beauty sections, but their workout clothes are always on point. They are ALSO super cheap, considering almost every item at Marshalls seems to be priced down from its original price. Every day at Marshalls brings new clothes, but I am always getting my yoga mats from here along with some free dumbbells to store in my car for a quick workout whenever!
