Lately in the television world, a lot of shows from the 90's kids' childhood have been making a comeback! While some of these you probably have already heard of and most likely seen, there are a couple of new ones on the horizon. So if your a 90's child, you need to know about these shows:

1. The Powerpuff Girls

i used to love this show when I was younger. I'm pretty sure I own the movie on VCR still. When I found out this show was making a comeback, I was so excited, now I am just sad. In my opinion the re-make isn't not as good as the original. I honestly don't like the new animation that cartoons use now. Also cartoons for kids now are either very vulgar or the writing just isn't good. I am not super impressed with this re-make but if you love it, then enjoy. If you want to watch it it's on Cartoon Network.

2. Fuller House

Just like with the Powerpuff Girls, I also used to love watching Full House. While this show actually started in 1987, it ended in 1995 which makes it a 90's show! Fuller House follows the story of D.J. Tanner who is all grown up and has two kids and who is a single Mom. Her family moves back to her old house in San Francisco where her old best friend Kimmy Gibbler and her daughter also move in with her. Stephanie Tanner also ends up moving in with D.J and Kimmy as they help each other raise their families.. While this show is not as good as the original, it is a good show and I would recommend it. It's on Netflix if you want to watch it. Right now it's only the first season but there will be a season two forth coming.

3. That's So Raven 2

One of the newly announced shows that are making a comeback is That's So Raven. This was back when Disney had all the good shows. There aren't many details yet, just that Raven Simoné is going to be staring as Raven Baster. Raven is a single mother with two kids and one of her kids has the gift of sight and Raven has to help her learn about what it is. There is no word on if any of the other original cast members are going to return. No date has been released yet for this but I know I am really excited to see how this one turns out.

4. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life

I am not super familiar with the Gilmore Girls (I have just started watching it) but the reboot follows the life of Rory and Lorelai ten years later. Lorelai is trying to figure out her life and Rory is trying to figure out her life as well. It also follows Richard's death and how Emily is dealing with his death. The show will be on Netflix November 28th and it will be 4 one hour long episodes broken into the seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall.

5. The Magic School Bus 360 Degrees

The Magic School Bus was one of the shows I watched as a kid for the educational value (and because I wished I was in Mrs. Frizzle's class). One of the new features will be a new and improved school bus for the kids to take an adventure on. This is going to be released on Netflix at some point this year, so stay tuned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
