We all know, after awhile, movies can sometimes get old, and we have no desire of watching them anymore (happened to me with "Harry Potter," and it was tragic). However, in my opinion, these are my favorite five movies with some of the biggest replay value.
1. "The Prestige"
At first, "The Prestige" may seem like an ordinary magician movie, but after watching it, you learn it is so much more than that. Two magicians, Alfred Borden (Christian Bale) and Robert Angier (Hugh Jackman) duke it out to be the top magician and ultimately pull off the greatest stage illusion the world has ever seen. The end of the movie leaves you with more questions than answers, which is what makes the re-watch totally worth it!
2. "The Godfather Part II"
There is a reason this movie won six Oscars, including best picture. If you are into the crime genre, then you know it is widely known as one of the best gangster films in Hollywood. Even for those who are not into the crime genre, the storyline can capture the attention of anyone. Re-watching this movie will give you a new appreciation for the plot. The sequel to "The Godfather," this film focuses on the life of Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) as the mafia chief of the Corleone crime organization. This story is paralleled with flashbacks of his father, Vito Corleone (Robert De Niro) and his own rise to power.
Bonus: Young Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are serious eye candy.
3. "The Breakfast Club"
Let's be honest here, this one is pretty self-explanatory.
4. "Deadpool"
While "Deadpool" is fresh out of the cinema womb, it has some serious replay value. Between the snarky comments from the main character, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), and the constant breaking of the fourth wall, this movie has so much action packed into it that you are bound to see something new with every re-watch.
5. "The Usual Suspects"
"The Usual Suspects" is known for having the plot twist of all plot twists. After watching the movie, the plot twist might seem obvious. However, watching it back gives an interesting look at how the whole movie is orchestrated. The movie is narrated by Verbal Kint (Kevin Spacey), who is being interrogated after a massive drug heist. The story follows his account of a series of crimes performed by him and his accomplices, all circling around Kyser Soze, who is a mystery mob boss.
Also, it would not hurt to watch "Dirty Dancing."
