I am sure that you have already heard. In fact, if you have been on Facebook in the last month you have definitely seen too many articles announcing that "Gilmore Girls" is coming back! Okay, so it is not a 10th season on the CW, but "Gilmore Girls" fans everywhere will still take the four episodes that Netflix will be giving us without complaint.

We left Stars Hollow with a Luke and Lorelei reunion, Rory declining Logan's proposal and heading off on Obama's campaign, and Zach leaving Lane with the twins to jet off on a music tour. So, all fans are wondering what comes next? Where will our favorite characters be when the show returns to Netflix?

While we may not know for sure until Netflix produces its four episode arc. However, we can still speculate and hope that the show will fulfill all of our "Gilmore Girls" dreams.

Here are some of the things I (and probably other fans) would love to see when the show returns to Netflix.

1. Luke and Lorelei

They always added drama to the show. How many times did you find yourself screaming at the television, begging them to finally see past their stupidity and be together? The end of the series had Lorelei and Luke, kind of reconciling... But the scene where she thanks him for Rory's going away party was vague. We can only hope that these two are still together eight years later. Maybe Rory and April even have a sibling or siblings.

2. Rory and...

This is a tough one. I loved Jess...loved him even more after he grew up and wrote a book. I also loved Logan, but understood why Rory had to walk away from the proposal. When the series ended, Rory was single and about to embark on the Obama campaign. Since then Obama has served two terms, so Rory is out of a job. Hopefully she has not only succeeded in the journalism, but in her love life as well...whether she has ended up with Jess, Dean, or (hopefully) Logan.

3. Lane's Music Career

We last saw Lane staying home in Stars Hollow to take care of her kids while her husband went off to perform in a live tour. Lane's entire story from the show's opening until the very end centered around music. She was always hiding it from her mother by stashing CDs beneath her floorboards or finding creative ways to practice. Hopefully Lane did not have to sacrifice too much for her husband. Maybe the new episodes will have Lane just coming off a world tour or fulfilling her drumming dreams in some other way.

4. A Successful April

April came out of left field... no one was expecting her to be Luke's daughter when she showed up in the diner. She did make Luke happy, it was easy to tell by the amount of effort he put into getting to know her. Maybe these new episodes will show April in college, majoring in some unpronounceable science, which will eventually make her millions of dollars.

5. Kirk

Kirk was always a good source of comedy on the show. I am not particular about what Kirk should be doing when the show returns. I can only hope that he will be there, joined by Lulu or not, I am not picky. Maybe he will be selling more t shirts that are relevant to whatever is happening now in Stars Hollow or maybe he will be the new mayor, which will be the ultimate comedy. We can only hope that Kirk is on the show in some capacity.
