The 5 Best Hikes To Take In Upstate NY

Since it is almost memorial day weekend I figured I would write about some of the best hikes in Upstate, NY that anyone can hike. Hopefully this listicle will help people decide where they want to go hiking next or make them appreciate the mountains that the 518 has to offer!

1. The Pinnacle

This hike is the best view of Lake George in my opinion!! It only takes about thirty minutes and it can be hiked no matter what season because it has the best view no matter what time of year!

2. Buck Mountain

This is a harder climb but it is a blast! It has a stellar view of Lake George.

3. Sleeping Beauty

This another gorgeous view of The Queen Of American Lakes! The hike is so worth the view!

4. Owl's Head

Owl's Head is located in the high peaks region but it is a smaller and easier climb with a beautiful view.


5. Mountain Goodnow

This hike will always be one that I keep close to my heart because it is one of the first one's that I remember doing as a child.
