5 High End Makeup Products Worth The Money

Sometimes when you walk into a Sephora or an Ulta and you look at the prices of the makeup it actually hurts your heart. I for one have been there. But sometimes when you splurge on a product and it turns out to be just as fantastic as you have imagined it would be, it becomes so worth it. Here are some products I have went on a limb and splurged on and it turned out so worth it that I have repurchased!

1. Glossier Balm Dotcom

Now this product is one that has to be purchased online and it can sound risky. Spending $13 plus shipping on an all over balm you would expect this product to transform your skin back to when you were first born. Although its powers may not be that strong I can promise you smooth lips and free stickers with every purchase. Their Balm Dotcom line has one original product and four scented ones, coconut, mint, rose (which is tinted), and cherry (also tinted). I HIGHLY recommend this product and as a bonus you can get 20% off your first order!

2. Urban Decay Naked 1 Palette

This nude eyeshadow palette is honestly probably some of the best $50 you will ever spend. It is such a great everyday eyeshadow palette with the perfect mix of mattes and shimmers. You can make a casual day look out of it or a fancy night look with it. If you don't already have it what are you waiting for?!

3. Too Faced Shadow Insurance

For your eyeshadow (ahem the Naked Palette) you are going to need an eyeshadow primer that will keep your work of art in place all day and night and this primer is the perfect one to do the job!! It keeps your eyeshadow looking like you just applied it five seconds ago and honestly thats all we could ask for!

4. Nars Orgasm Blush and Laguna Bronzer Duo

This duo is for sure a cult favorite. The peachy pink of the blush and perfect sandy brown color is perfect to chisel out those cheeks and brighten up your face! If you are a fan of shimmery blushes and you haven't tried the Orgasm blush you are missing out it is a product you need in your collection ASAP.

5. Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

This is hands down one of the best mascaras out there and definitely worth the money (even if it is like $22 dollars). It saves you a whole step in the morning by curling your lashes for you so you can toss out your eyelash curler! It lifts and lengthens your lashes flawlessly and gives you a perfect all day hold without flaking!

Now if your like me no matter how good a product is spending sooo much money on them hurts. So if you are on a budget and want to just test out a product there is almost always a sample size of a product you have been eyeballing! Make sure you check out the counters of the sample size products online or in store (they are a lifesaver!)

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
