I love animals. I love shopping. So when I go shopping, I might as well buy from stores that contribute a percentage of their profits to organizations that help animals. If you're looking for some online stores that donate to some pretty awesome causes, here are a few:
1. Ivory Ella
Ivory Ella is an online clothing site that donates 10 percent of their net profits to Save the Elephants. They make elephant-printed clothing, jewelry and accessories for men and women.
2. Savannah
Savannah wants to help save Africa's endangered lions. The company donates 10 percent of their profits from each month to the Wildlife Conservation Network. They sell accessories and lion-printed clothing for both men and women.
3. Makai
Makai's goal is to help protect turtles from natural and human-caused threats. The online retailer donates 10 percent of all net profits directly to seeturtles.org. The site offers turtle-printed accessories, clothing, blankets and gift cards.
4. I Heart Dogs
I Heart Dogs is an online retailer that sells dog-related pillows, posters, mugs, clothing items and accessories. With every purchase, you help donate meals for dogs in shelters. Shirts donate seven meals, and hoodies donate 15. Even if you end up returning an item, they still make sure that the dogs get their meals. In March of 2016, 386,908 meals were provided for shelter dogs.
5. Sea Shepherd
Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Their mission is to end the destruction of habitats and the slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans to help conserve and protect the ecosystems and species. You can buy clothing, hats, flags and patches, media and literature and phone accessories.
Even if you can't help by physically volunteering at other organizations, this is a great way to donate to the cause! By wearing or using products from these companies, you are helping spread awareness for issues you are passionate about!
