Fall is here, and things are changing. The leaves are turning bright colors, the temperature is dropping, and people are breaking out their jeans and leggings. Even if it’s not your favorite season, fall can be a great time if you know what to do. Check out these five things that you should definitely check off your bucket list this fall:
1.Pumpkin Picking
Fall is the only time for pumpkin picking, and that’s what makes it perfect! Whether you’re going to decorate your pumpkin or not, go pick one out with some friends or your significant other. For girls, it’s a great excuse to wear flannel and combat boots, and for guys, it’s a great excuse to show off your strength by picking the heaviest pumpkin you can carry. Pumpkin picking is fun for everyone, and you can decorate them when you’re done or let them be their own decoration for your room, house, or porch. Get out there and pick some pumpkins!
2.Apple Picking
Fall is also a perfect time for apple picking. Apples go great with a lot of things: apple pie, caramel apples, apple cider. Whatever you like to make them into, you should go pick some apples this fall. Take your friends and family and go get a whole bunch of different kinds of apples. This is also a great way to stay healthy because if you have a lot of apples on hand, you can reach for one with some peanut butter instead of that bag of chips. So start apple picking!
3.Fright Fest
Six Flags is always awesome, but Fright Fest is their time to be even more awesome! I’ve never been, but I’m definitely going to try to cross Fright Fest off my bucket list this fall. They have the same awesome rides as usual, but you can wear your costume, get candy, and have people try to scare you while you’re riding those awesome rides. What’s better than that? I’ll see you at Fright Fest!
4.Bonfire
A bonfire is a classical fall activity, so you have to have one this fall. Grab some friends, stock up on marshmallows, and have yourself a bonfire. It’ll be one of the last few times you can stand being outside for a long period of time before it’s too cold. The fire will keep you warm, and you can have some s’mores to pass the time. So have a bonfire with your friends. I promise it’ll be worth it!
5.Halloween Movie Marathon
What better time to have a Halloween movie marathon than in October? Televisions channels like Freeform will start showing practically nothing but Halloween movies pretty soon, so why not sit around with your friends and watch them? A Halloween movie marathon is a great way to spend those chilly fall nights with your closest friends, so grab the popcorn and start them up!
Fall is a beautiful time of year, and although it’s getting colder, there are still a lot of fun things to do. I hope you’ll cross these things off of your to-do list this fall!
