"Friends" has now been on Netflix for a year, giving everyone the chance to have binge watched all 236 episodes. Spoilers are now acceptable at this point. It's hard to choose which episodes were the best out of 10 great seasons, but here's some of my top five favorite "Friends" episodes, in no particular order.
1. The One With Ross's Wedding: Part 2
In this episode the gang, minus Rachel and Phoebe, are in London for Ross's wedding with Emily. Rachel rushes to London to tell Ross she still loves him before he gets married. What makes this episode so great, besides Phoebe's hilarious calls to everyone in London, was Ross accidentally saying Rachel's name at the alter.
2. The One With The Morning After
Although this episode was more sad than funny, there are many reasons why I love it. First of all, it really explains a break up well. In movies, there's always a happy ending. But in this episode, Rachel does not forgive Ross, and sets a good example for how women should react to being cheated on. The emotion she portrays is so real. I also love how the rest of the group is stuck in Monica's room listening to their fight. Their reactions and commentary are hilarious.
3. The One Where Rachel Has A Baby: Part 1
This episode is hilarious. Rachel is past her due date and miserable, ready to give birth. When she finally goes into labor, the hospital is out of private rooms, so she has to share a room with other couples before she gives birth. She is in the room so long that many couples come in and out, including Janice, a couple who wants to share everything, and a couple with a creepy father that argues a lot. This episode won't fail to make you laugh.
4. The Last One Parts 1 & 2
This one is bittersweet. The first time you watch it, it's just sad; but after you've accepted that "Friends" is over, you can rewatch it and appreciate its humor. This one has so many funny one liners by every character. One of my favorite parts is Monica and Chandler's reaction when they find out they're adopting twins. And there's also nothing better than when you hear Rachel say "I got off the plane." It's such a good, funny ending to "Friends."
5. The One With The Embryos
This is the infamous episode where Rachel and Monica switch apartments with Joey and Chandler. The competition between the two for the apartments is hilarious and guaranteed to make you smile. No one knew Chandler's job, and Chandler and Joey's arrival after they won is priceless.
