4)The Super-Positive Poster/ Exaggerator
You know this person well, maybe even see him regularly and his life is not that great. However, judging from his posts, he lives like a king. He can take the most minuscule, common thing and make it sound like he the highest honor a human could receive. You’re not sure if it’s a talent or a character flaw. Is he a total liar or just overly optimistic? Either way, he needs to relax and float back down to Earth.

Just had the BEST conversation with my wonderful, amazing boss! She said I should be the one running things around here ;) Or that’s what I got out of the conversation anyways. It’s so rewarding being the boss’s number two – she doesn’t even have to tell me that I’m her number two, even though I just started last week, I just know I'm that good. I absolutely love working at the string cheese factory - it I’m so incredibly lucky to be a part of such an awesome company. My co-workers are my best friends and we all have the best time together at work. Especially Big Dan the Man!! (Sorry, inside joke, right Dan?! Lol!!) I wish I never had to come home from work! Although it can be a little cheesy at times, it’s all gouda to me – lolololo!
5)The Pity Party of 1
Remember that SNL Character, Debbie Downer? We all have at least one of her aliases on our friends list. She only posts the sad stuff in her life, it seems like she’s hoping you’ll feel bad for her and comment how awesome she is and how she doesn’t deserve it. But when the “terrible news” is constant, you don’t really feel sorry for her per se, you only feel sorry that she seeks attention in this negative way. In the same way that you wonder about the Exaggerator’s life being that good, you wonder are things really that bad? We should all strive for the happy medium between these two characters when it comes to creating our online persona; in other words, keep it real.

Just got back from the doctor and I have some bad news to share. It’s seasonal allergies. I have never felt such excruciating pain in my entire life. On top of that, I have a migraine and a stomach ache, a hangnail, and split ends. I don’t know what I’m living for at this point. The doctor said if I really feel this awful, I should take off work and school today and rest. I don’t know how she expects me to pay my rent this month if I were to do that. I’m going to fall behind in school and probably won’t graduate on time now. Despite all the stress, I was trying to follow the doctor’s orders so I lie down on the couch, was about to fall asleep, and a TELEMARKETER chose THAT moment to call me - I’m just so done. I’m turning my phone OFF, if you need me, message me on here. Going to go cry now. Seriously leave me alone and don’t talk to me.
