I consider myself to be a big Disney fan. I've been lucky enough to go to Walt Disney World multiple times in my life, I grew up watching Disney movies and I follow various Disney bloggers online. That being said, I've noticed that some Disney/Disney Pixar movies don't get enough attention.
1. "Brother Bear"
"Brother Bear" is a touching story about love and family, told through great animation of cute bears. Plus, a majority of the music is done by Phil Collins, so what's not to love?
2. "Meet the Robinsons"
Like "Brother Bear," this one deals with family. It circles around two boys in an orphanage, time travel and finding yourself. While touching, it's also very comedic. One of the main quotes/themes of the film is one which takes from the words of Walt Disney himself: "Keep Moving Forward." Another killer soundtrack, too.
3. "The Emperor's New Groove"
Other than people quoting "Pull the lever, Kronk!" and the meme of Kris Jenner looking like Yzma, this movie doesn't get enough attention. It's funny and has some great voice actors -- David Spade and John Goodman are the leading men.
4. "Ratatouille"
This Disney Pixar movie is one of my favorites. The concept is unique and the characters (yes, even the rats) are lovable. Disney Pixar does a great job of taking the audience to a kitchen in Paris and makes it easy to suspend the disbelief that a rat can cook five-star meals.
5. "Cars"
Yes, "Cars." I was skeptical at first, too. What could be entertaining about talking cars? Everything. Again, Disney Pixar created lovable characters, a great storyline and touching moments. Yes, animated cars made me tear up.
