If you love the intensity of crime shows and the excitement of guessing who the culprit is as much as I do, here are some shows that you should look into!
1. "Criminal Minds"
This is a show that never gets old. This show is going on 12 seasons strong with episodes full of suspense and drama. The main reasons to love this show are the complex and interesting characters such as Derek Morgan and Spencer Reid, they bring something special to the table. After watching this show you will look at people differently, watching a little more closely. It is a must watch.
2. "Bones"
This show definitely stands out from the rest due to the perspective switch. The main character is a forensic anthropologist and her partner is an FBI agent. When watching this show you watch bonds form and see the more scientific side of putting people behind bars. It is interesting to study bones and at the end you can feel a bit smarter than you were when you started watching. Take caution, addiction is a side effect of Bones.
3. "Psych"
This show is HILARIOUS. It gives you the crime aspect you love with nonstop laughter along the way. What is better than a man who is very talented at reading people but proclaims to be psychic to avoid jail? Nothing. The puns and jokes are quotable and you will probably bring them up in everyday conversation. So if you love to laugh and love crime, this is a show for you.
4. "Sherlock"
A British show that has too many fans to count. It has won the hearts of many people. I love it because each episode is like a movie itself, you simply just can't get enough. The only negative is the short seasons of three episodes every couple of years. They are worth the wait, the mind of Sherlock is unimaginable and brilliant.
5. "Dexter"
Dexter is so different than other crime shows just because you are watching in the perspective of a serial killer himself. It should be wrong to like him but at least he is only killing other serial killers, making the world better one kill at a time. You'll be hooked on this show after the first episode.
