I don't know about you but going broke during the holidays is a trend for me. What makes it even worse is the extreme cold and inability to play outside. However, having a significant other means you'll always have a cuddle buddy to get through the cold winter with. This decreases boredom, but the winter time can still be long and cold with limited activities that don't break the bank.

1. Half off sushi at Kai on Wednesday College Nights from 9-midnight

My boyfriend and I only spent $11 on a date here. That's a pretty darn good deal if ya ask me.

2. Christmas lights

You can get the outdoor holiday experience from inside your car!

3. Ice skating

Ice skating can take place indoor or outdoor and doesn't break the bank! If you want to bundle up and get a more wintery feel, then an outdoor rink would be a fun date! Either way, it'd be fun no matter what your skill level is!

4. Waffle House

Who doesn't love Waffle House? It's a cheap date and stays open 24 hours. This means your Waffle House craving can be cured by a 2 am date.

5. Bowling

Bowling is fun any time of the year and costs around $2.50. Since it is inside, you can avoid the cold!

These dates can be experienced with your significant other or your best friend. Either way - lets spice up this winter.
