Celebrities play a huge role in pop culture and today’s society. The fact is that a lot of those celebrities’ impact on culture isn’t positive. Fortunately, there are some celebs that use their power to raise awareness for great causes and efforts, like this short list of celebrities who are using their fame to raise awareness for the environment.

1. Leonardo DiCaprio

While Leo is best known for acting in movies, including "The Great Gatsby," "Titanic," "The Revenant" and "Inception," just to name a few, he is also a very outspoken environmentalist. He recently produced a new film called "Before the Flood" which is premiering at the end of this month on National Geographic. The film is a very clear call for immediate climate action. Leo is one of the most prominent environmentalist celebrities out there, and you can check out his social media pages to learn more about all of his numerous, amazing efforts.

"Global warming is not only the number one environmental challenge we face today, but one of the most important issues facing all of humanity... We all have to do our part to raise awareness about global warming and the problems we as a people face in promoting a sustainable environmental future for our planet." Leonardo DiCaprio

2. Shailene Woodley

The "Divergent" series star is surprisingly very interested in the environment and natural health. Shailene has talked a lot about some really interesting natural health techniques, such as ingesting clay to remove heavy metals from your body or using sesame oil to whiten your teeth. Shailene was also recently arrested for protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota.

"I’m going to be a citizen of this planet, and I’m going to do my responsibility and live in stride with nature instead of constantly fighting against her.” Shailene Woodley

3. Henry Cavill

The star of several Superman movies and the Showtime series, "The Tudors," Henry Cavill, actually runs his own conservation organization called Cavill Conservation. Henry is a passionate advocate for wildlife conservation, and he even has his own wildlife refuge in Jersey.

4. Ian Somerhalder

"The Vampire Diaries" star, Ian Somerhalder, started his own foundation to raise awareness for environmental and animal rights issues. Read more about the star's diverse and commendable efforts at the Ian Somerhalder Foundation website.

5. Jessica Alba

And finally, there's actress Jessica Alba, who founded the Honest Company to provide an alternative to household toxic chemicals. The company uses all natural and organic materials to make home and health products that are environmentally friendly.

"I did research when I was pregnant with my first daughter and was horrified by the chemicals in products, even those meant for babies. I would have to go to 50 different places just to get my house and my kid clean." Jessica Alba

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
