Yearning to have their music appetites satisfied are festival fanatics who are starving for mind-blowing electronic music with climatic drops and seductive beats. Like a summer drought that has just ended, salvation for bass-thirsty festival fanatics has been delivered by renowned music festival production teams. Choosing which festivals to attend this summer can become difficult. However, five fests stand out from the rest.

1. Sonic Bloom (Spanish Peaks Country, CO)

Did Colorado fail to make the list of your summer vacation destinations? After reading the lineup for the 11th annual Sonic Bloom music festival, it may just prevail after all. The succulent lineup of Sonic Bloom 2016 is dripping with juicy psychedelic jam bands and electronic musicians, featuring a vast number of musicians from different electronic music genres, some headlining musicians include, Tipper, Girraffage, Govinda, Nightmares on Wax, Opuio Band, Michael Menert, Justin Martin, J. Sonic Bloom offers workshops, speakers, yoga, live painting, performance art, art installations and more. While the list of festivities and musical talent unfolds, the experiences that can be made at this festival await to be unraveled.

2. Electric Forest (Rothbury, MI)

A dense forest that is thick with kaleidoscopic reflections and bumping with beats that pulsate through your body is music festival Electric forest, a camping festival located in Rothbury Michigan. What bring the forest and attendees to life is the dirty bass music with climatic build-ups and satisfying drop. Complementing to the music is the mesmerizing lasers of multicolored rainbows that will lure one deeper into the forest to indulge in the festival festivities. The Electric Forest lineup is overflowing with headliners from Adventure Club, Baauer, Bro Safari, Flosstradamus, Fetty Wap, Griz, Porter Robinson and more. Taking place on June 23-26, the forest floors will become dance floors and community will be created. Electric Forest brings together world famous DJs, renowned visionary artists and adventure seekers together as one through the same intentions: thrill, experience and to indulge in the mind melting, surrealistic embellishments that Electric Forest serves up annually.

3. Northern Nights (Piercy, CA)

Abandoning the musical haven that is Electric Forest to rejoin the chaos of reality can be little appealing. However, Northern Nights music festival has the remedy. Northern Nights is a camping music festival located in a forest of redwood trees along the Eel River in Cook’s Valley campground. Taking place July 15-17, keep your bags from your prior festivities packed because this is another beckoning adventure that is just another road trip away. The festival campground is unlike any other. With breathtaking scenery and lavish surroundings, the festival features four stages, including a river stage on the water's banks where ripping drum and bass music won't be the only things that send pleasuring chills down your spine, but also the refreshing and cooling water that surrounds. Northern Nights is a summertime oasis and features headliners like Gorgon City, Slumberjack, Troyboi, Daktyl and SNBRN while also featuring a number of other musicians that are on the rise. Northern Nights sets the bar high for festivals to follow in the month of July.

4. Outside Lands (San Francisco, CA)

Outside Lands is a festival where gourmet food and wine meet amazing music, in a music lover and food fanatic's dream come true. With a combination of scrumptious, mouth-watering food and a variety of musical talent, this multi -genre, multi-cultural festival will serve up a scrumptious weekend of events that will satisfy cravings, and hit the spot. Outside Lands features musicians such as Radiohead, Lana Del Rey, J. Cole, Zedd, Major Lazer, Chance the Rapper. This festival brings people together from all walks of life by creating a community centered around the many pleasures and joys of life: food, wine, culture, music and art.

5. Symbiosis (Oakdale, CA)

Bring the summer season to a reluctant but triumphant close is music festival Symbiosis. Attuned to the underground music, art and sustainable culture of music festivals, Symbiosis appears to operate on a higher frequency than other hippie festivals. The festival is a psychedelic, kaleidoscopic vision from the glorious art installations, to the glittered and majestic desert dwellers who are dressed in exotic festival fashions with vibrantly painted faces. Symbiosis is a camping festival that takes place on September 22-25 and is located on the Woodward Reservoir in Oakdale, California. The 2016 Symbiosis lineup is not yet released. However, headliners from the previous year included, Nicolas Jaar, Cocorosie, Tipper, Four Tet, Griz, Justin Martin, Shpongle, Minnesota, The Polish Ambassador, J. Phlip, Coyote Kisses, Eprom and more. A grand meandering lake wraps around the land, and the Symbiosis’ production team takes full advantage of this glorious lake, creating the swimbiosis stage. Rooting from pure intentions, Symbiosis is a community-based gathering that aims to provide a conscious and wholesome experience for its attendees. Symbiosis is a festival that has no corporate sponsorship and offers workshops, speakers, performance art, live painting, sustainability partnerships and more. As the festivals days turn into nights, the festival grounds become real life visions of artistic creations by digital artists like Android Jones. House music, psychedelic rock and ambient music will beacon from every direction and carry on till the break of dawn. Whether it’s the soothing aromas of sage or the palo santo that is fresh in the air, Symbiosis is truly magical.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
