Letting go of old clothes can be quite difficult, but sometimes it can be the best thing for you. I know from experience that giving up my old items to clear out my closet was hard; however, I noticed a big difference in my attitude and in my wallet! If you are thinking about selling or giving away your clothes to Goodwill, you should consider these 5 apps! They are really helpful; I promise!

1. Poshmark

This is definitely a go to site if you want to earn some extra cash and sell your unwanted goods! They take a percentage out, but you are still getting paid and still getting rid of your things! And buyers pay for shipping!

2. Vinted

The same as Poshmark, but it has videos! Now its easier for buyers to see any flaws and the details of what you are selling! The company still takes a percentage, but you are still getting paid for giving away clothes you do not need!

3. Mercari

Mercari is just like the first two except they do not take a percentage! I have been really successful on this site! You can sell almost anything on here! It's a nice little community and you can choose the price of shipping or ship it yourself!

4. Letgo

I do not really use this app; however, it is a easier way to sell locally if you do not want to ship things. But beware; some people may not show up. Just make sure if you do this app, meet somewhere in day light with lots of people to make the clothes exchange!

5. Yerdle

With this site, you don't really get money, but yerdle dollars! These dollars are used to spend on that site to buy clothes and accessories that other sellers post online! The best part about this is, you are giving your clothes to people who actually need them. It's also a nice community and if you become yerdle pro, you can receive tons of promotions and gifts!

These are just a few sites that I engage in and they can really benefit anyone who wants to give away old things for some extra money or for and extra blessing! So whenever you are deciding to let go of things, remember these apps and our life will be a much easier!

Are you giving away your clothes? If so where?

Do you use apps to help with that?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
