Over the past couple of years, multiple celebrities have announced they were running for presidency. Lindsay Lohan, Kanye West and Waka Flocka Flame are some honorable mentions in this case, but at least there was a good amount of memes to keep us entertained as result. When Donald Trump announced his plan for campaigning, most of us probably thought it was a joke, because he has announced the same plan for over a decade but ultimately never followed through with it. Now, things are getting more serious. As we get closer to November for the final countdown, Donald Trump is one of the most popular candidates. Now the outcome is unknown.

Pack up everything and hightail it to Canada.

Apparently, there's an island in Canada that is prepared to bring in potential refugees fleeing a country under Trump. If you think this may work for you, Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia is awaiting your stay. It has everything you and your family may need, including schools, its own university and very picturesque scenery far away from a toupee and crushed Cheetos dust tan. Think of it like buying a timeshare, but probably living there forever. Also, isn't it a little ironic that there's a refugee crisis in America, and some Americans may consider becoming one voluntarily?

Fling yourself into space.

It's not like anyone else is using it. NASA shut down the Space Program a few years back, so this may be a little expensive for you unless you've been racking in at least six figures a year. If worse comes to worst, I'm sure someone will try to rig up a human-sized slingshot with some rubber bands tied together. That good ol' American ingenuity that this country is founded on will help you out. Go volunteer yourself as tribute and maybe we'll try it after you do.

Go vote.

Quite honestly, regardless of who you vote for, voting itself is important. People have told me personally that they aren't voting because they don't want to side with one candidate, or because they just don't think anyone is worth the vote. Every vote matters. Also this is the option that requires the least amount of effort, so if your first instinct was to go for either of the other two options, save yourself the trouble and just drive to the ballot.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
