Having all four seasons in your state is always a downer for the ones who want to get out and experience the world, but having all four seasons allows us to experience the fun of all different types of weather, which some cannot do. These are some of the reasons for the seasons.

Fall

Fall is such an amazing season if you love semi-cold, frigid weather, its the time of year where we get to drink pumpkin spice latte's and have everything smell like pumpkin. Comfy Sweaters and days at the pumpkin patch make fall so amazing to all of us. Living in Pennsylvania, you get the full fall experience, the weather is just right for sweaters and coffee. what more could you want? We spend all of the summer being ready for fall, so why not appreciate it in all of its amazing glory. The leaves change color, the sky is still blue, football games and tailgates, it is objectively my favorite time of the year.

Winter

Winter is full of wonder, snow is falling, the smell of hot chocolate is in the air. Though we hate the freezing cold, we love the snow and wonder that can come with it, without winter, summer would not be as fun and amazing, we would not appreciate the happiness the warmth the sun brings us if it wasn't for winter.

Spring

Spring prepares us for Summer, all the beauty, flowers, and animals, butterflies, and picnics, what more could you want? The only downside is seasonal allergies, but it should not distract you from the real beauty of the season. Spring has beautiful colors and atmospheres, there is Prom for high schoolers, and graduation for many others, It is one of the most eventful seasons, with rain or sunshine, never knowing when will strike next.

Summer

Of course, everyone's favorite season, or so they claim. Summer gives us road trips to the beach, vacations from schooling, and fun in the sun! Summer gives us feelings of euphoria and most of our best memories are made during this season, It's loving and carefree, it is all you could want. But, would you want it if you had it all year round?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
