The August heat strikes the backs of sun kissed students, boxes and suitcases are being stacked in new dorms and apartments, and unreasonably expensive textbooks are being purchased everywhere. The signs of the first week of college classes are evident, and so are the expectations of the students. The all too familiar syllabus week, where professors are supposed to briefly inform students about the upcoming semester, is known as one of the best (and easiest) times of the academic year.
