Ah, summer. As the Northern Hemisphere approaches the hottest time of the year, many of us have a problem- the heat. As the years keep getting warmer, we want to be able to stay cool in the face of blazing heat. So, how do we manage this?
One of the best ways to beat the heat is a well known trick: drink water. Staying hydrated is vital, especially since the heat makes you sweat and lose water. To make your water even more tasty and refreshing, you can add lemon, lime, mint, or even fruit.
The sun is also bad for the skin. Remember to always apply sunscreen, even when just stepping outside, as the sun can lead to bad sunburn, and continued exposure to UV rays is linked to skin cancer.
