After you've been in a relationship for a little while, there is a tendency to begin to take each other for granted. While it's not necessarily in a bad way, we can begin to forget that all of those small, nice things that they do for us, they're doing for us. From doing the dishes to texting you "Good morning," there are many things that I need to thank my significant other for, and you should, too.

1. Thank you for texting me throughout my day.

We both work, and I know you can get busy, but getting a text from you in the middle of the day just checking in on me really brightens up the rest of my workday.

2. Thank you for turning the TV off.

Whether it's before you come to bed or before you head off to work, you always remember to shut down the house before you leave. Thank you for thinking of our electric bill, and for thinking of me.

3. Thank you for taking the dog out.

I know having to take the dog down the stairs and outside as soon as you wake up isn't fun, but I really appreciate it.

4. Thank you for letting me watch my favorite shows (that you might not love).

You accept that I enjoy watching "The Office" over and over again, and somehow you put up with it.

5. Thank you for listening to me.

I know that I can ramble. Or that I'll tell you stories that you've already heard 17 times. But you always pay attention to me when I talk, no matter what.

6. Thank you for making me laugh.

With so much stress and sadness in the world, it can be hard to smile sometimes, but you are always there to make a cheesy pun.

7. Thank you for dealing with my crazy moods.

I know you hate when I cry, but you still sit next to me and tell me that everything is gonna be OK.

8. Thank you for knowing my food preferences.

You know what drink I want, what I don't want on my burger, and what restaurants I absolutely hate. You took the time to learn these things about me, which a lot of people don't.

9. Thank you for killing bugs.

While I sometimes have to tackle the spiders, you don't hesitate to smash flies in the bathroom for me when I run out in fear.

10. Thank you for making food runs.

I know my late-night Taco Bueno cravings can be annoying, but thank you for grabbing me a Muchacho when the hunger strikes.

11. Thank you for watching kids movies with me.

You saw "Inside Out" with me in theaters even though you didn't really want to. And while you made fun of me a little bit when I cried, you were still there.

12. Thank you for letting me pick the radio stations.

I apologize for how loudly I sing Adele.

13. Thank you for still flirting with me.

After a while there's really no point in flirting anymore, but you can still give me butterflies.

14. Thank you for letting me eat some of your snacks.

You picked them out for yourself. Thank you for letting me eat some most of them.

15. Thank you for letting me hold the remote.

I might never change anything, but you let me hold the power.

16. Thank you for letting me set the thermostat.

In both the car and the house.

17. Thank you for letting me use the good blanket.

It's softer and you happily hand it to me.

18. Thank you for offering me seconds before you take your own.

You always double check that I'm full before you get more food.

19. Thank you for getting the things that I can't reach.

I know it can be annoying when I ask you to constantly grab things for me, but you always say yes without hesitation.

20. Thank you for fixing things.

Internet connection, furniture, lamps. I could probably eventually figure out how to fix it myself, but you happily do it first.

21. Thank you for coming with me to see my family.

I know it can be awkward when we all carry on and you have no idea what we're talking about, but you understand how important my family is to me, so you visit with them whenever I want.

22. Thank you for being kind to me.

When I'm sad, mad, self-conscious, etc, you always reassure me.

23. Thank you for taking out the trash when it's dark.

I know I can be a little paranoid about going outside alone when it's dark. I appreciate you humoring my paranoia.

24. Thank you for teaching me things.

Learning something new from you is always fun.

25. Thank you for paying for our dinner.

While I can occasionally convince you to let me get the bill, you constantly pay for our meals without a second thought.

26. Thank you for remembering things about me.

While this one may seem silly, I love when I say something about myself and you respond with, "Yeah, I know." The fact that you actually pay attention to the off-handed comments I make, and retain the information, means the world to me.

27. Thank you for small gifts.

"I saw this and thought of you" means more to me than you can imagine.

28. Thank you for being silly with me.

Some people might think it's odd that we make weird faces at each other. But we're having fun, so who cares.

29. Thank you for believing in me.

Every time I decide to start a project, discuss my career goals or want to make a change, you always back me up.

30. Thank you for texting my mom back while I'm driving.

She appreciates it, and so do I.

31. Thank you for driving your car so I don't have to get gas.

I'm sure you do it partly because your car has better gas mileage, and partly because you love me.

32. Thank you for being patient with me.

I know that I can be a lot sometimes. I'm sorry,

33. Thank you for loving me.

Despite my crazy moods, bad habits and odd quirks, you continue to love and support me every single day. I can never thank you enough.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
