The gym, one of the best and worst places. If you actually go frequently it can help you shed off all those late night chocolate bars but it is painful and makes you hot and sweaty. My relationship with the gym just isn’t working out, here are some reasons why I absolutely cannot go today.
1. It’s Monday.
2. It’s any day of the week that ends in "y."
3. I’m hungover.
4. The gym is boring.
5. My running shoes seem to have gone missing.
6. It’s raining.
7. Well, it looks like it will be raining soon.
8. Oh now it’s sunny, I should enjoy this beautiful day by tanning instead.
9. Oreos > gym.
10. Pretty sure I broke my pinky toe last night.
11. I’m still sore from the last time I went to the gym, 2 weeks ago.
12. I don’t have time, I have to finish all 11 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy instead.
13. All my Lulus are dirty.
14. It’s probably too crowded right now.
15. I lost all my hair ties, I can’t work out with my hair down.
16. No one else can go right now and I can’t go alone.
17. I should really work on my paper that’s due in 3 weeks.
18. I walked to class and back and that work out was enough.
19. People will judge me.
20. The sweaty look just really doesn't work for me.
21. The walk is too far.
22. The drive is too far.
23. My car keeps making this funny noise and I don’t want to drive it and make it worst.
24. I drank some healthy juice stuff so I think that is enough for being healthy today.
25. Too full, I’ll puke.
26. Too hungry, I’ll faint.
27. My throat hurts a little, definitely don’t want to make myself more sick.
28. It’s probably still too crowded.
29. It’s too early, I’ll go later.
30. It’s too late, I’ll go early tomorrow.
31. I’m going out in 5 hours and I don’t think I will have enough time to go the gym AND get ready.
32. I really have to do that thing I’ve been meaning to do.
33. I’m “literally dying.”
