32 Thoughts You Have In An Airport

With all the traveling for spring break, I'm sure a lot of you were just in an airport. Maybe it is just me, but when I'm traveling alone, these are often the thoughts running through my head.

1. I hope the security line isn't too long.

2. I should probably get out my boarding pass.

3. But I mean, I'll probably be waiting in line for a while…

(When only one person is ahead of me i'll start fumbling through my large bag for one tiny piece of paper.)

4. I can't find my boarding pass.

(Continue to search, face gets red.)

5. I hope the people behind me don't hate me…

(Finally finds ID and boarding pass and hands to seemingly unpleasant airport worker.)

6. That doesn't seem like a bad job, why are they so miserable?

7. I wonder how much they get paid.

(...then proceeds to security check)

8. Ugh, I have to take off my shoes and I'm wearing Christmas ankle socks.

9. Is this girl behind me judging me?

10. Definitely.

11. What if I left a liquid in my bag?

12. Oh god, that would be embarrassing if they took me aside.

13. Do I need to take off my earrings? I hope not…

(Holds breath and walks through metal detector successfully.)

14. YES! I made it

(Follows sign after sign, goes on one of those moving conveyor belts.)

15. They should have these things everywhere, you would never have to walk.

16. I could picture these all over campus.

17. Wow I'm lazy.

18. UGH I have to wait another hour to board?

19. I should probably get some homework done…

20. But first… snacks.

21. Do calories consumed at high altitudes even count?

22. Definitely not.

23. Okay, homework time!

(Puts onNetflix instead.)

24. This was definitely a better idea!

(Hears the sameloud speaker message over and over.)

25. I GET IT I WON'T LEAVE MY BAG UNATTENDED.

26. I really hope there's not a screaming baby on this plane.

27. What even are zones?

28. Why am I not the first zone?

29. What if there's not enough room in the overhead compartments for my bag?

30. What if the person next to me smells?

31. What if we crash!!!???

32. Well… no turning back now... at least I brought my pillow pet with me... Here we go…

And in just a few days, on your returning flight, you get to experience it all again!
