The end of the semester is upon us, which means the semester-long assignments and project deadlines are approaching quickly. If you are anything like me, you have just now waited to start these projects and are now drowning in deadlines. If you are even more like me, your motivation for this semester is quickly fading and you are dreaming of your summer plans consisting, of camp and absolutely no school. As I dream about these days to come, I am constantly thinking of things I could be doing besides school, so here are a few if you are in the procrastination phase like me:
1. Hang out with friends.
2. Make a home-cooked meal.
3. Netflix binge-watch ("One Tree Hill," if you need any ideas).
4. Get an adult coloring book and color the stress away.
5. Work on your summer bod in the gym.
6. Waste hours on end on social media.
7. Go online shopping.
8. Plan a hypothetical, never going to happen vacation.
9. Hang out with more friends (#intentional).
10. Nap (this should be included among your top 5 procrastination techniques).
11. Go through drive throughs to only talk to the employees.
12. Go shopping at the mall (even if you are broke).
13. Bake something, this one will help you with your summer bod.
14. Go to the park.
15. Hammock.
16. Go tanning.
17. Go to McDonalds and eat McFlurries in the parking lot.
18. Clean your keyboard cover.
19. Climb to the roof of a parking garage and watch the sunrise or sunset.
20. Clean your room.
21. Just kidding, take a nap instead.
22. Watercolor or practice your calligraphy.
23. Go swim laps at the rec.
24. Hot tub at the rec.
25. Go eat tacos, on Tuesday.
26. Make a potential Christmas list for all family members. (Never too early right?)
27. Wander the mall alone.
28. Practice your talents, in case you ever need them.
29. Take a spontaneious road trip.
30. Take lots of insta worthy pics on said road trip.
31. Go camping in your backyard.
32. Create your own list of ways to procrastinate effectively.
