As some people may know I am a die-hard fan of "The Bachelor," and I am not embarrassed to say that. Many people like to consider "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette" a guilty pleasure, which it is, but I was so excited for January 4 at 8 p.m. that I could almost not put it into words. I knew this season was going to better than others because this time the show picked the absolute perfect bachelor: Benjamin Higgins. Last season, America fell for Ben even though Kaitlyn did not. Ben will be the perfect bachelor for a number of reasons, but here are the top 32.

2. He is a family guy.

3. He is grounded.

4. He is from a small town.

5. He doesn’t know how good looking he is.

6. He can play sports.

7. He explains sex well to kids.

8. He is not all about the physical.

9. He is normal.

12. He gives all the girls attention, even if they are crazy. (Lace, I'm looking at you.)

13. He has a great relationship with his parents.

14. He is not ashamed of his roots.

Even though I am kind of secretly hoping that Ben does not get engaged on the show and instead proposes to me, I know this season will be great because he will be in every episode! Enjoy the season.
