My husband I fell in love during the spring months. We were inseparable, always seeking out a new adventure, a new experience, a new memory we could make together. It was one of the sweetest times in our relationship - and I'm so grateful for our early adventures together.
It's so easy to fall into the rut of doing the same old things over and over again for dates with your sweetheart. But this spring, make things different! Here are few of my favorite date-night ideas that I know you'll both love and remember for a very long time!
1. Build a living room fort and binge on some of your favorite movies or TV shows
2. Find the best spot in town and venture out to watch the sunset together.
3. Finally visit that museum in your city that you've been planning on venturing out to.
4. Grab some chalk and turn your driveway into a work of art.
5. Take a camera (or your cell phone) out on a nature walk with you.
6. Document your adventure.Have a small bonfire in your backyard, just the two of you.
7. Wake up early, grab some coffee, and catch the sunrise.
8. Set up a tent and camp outside in your backyard with a few cozy blankets and a sea of pillows.
9. Head to the park and fly kites.
10. Explore a new part of town that you've never visited before.
11. Set a budget of $20 and head to the dollar store. Get creative, and have fun with what you buy!
12. Attend a local fair, and share a kiss at the top of the ferris wheel.
13. Tye-dye some old t-shirts together.
14.Create your own pizza with both of your favorite ingredients.
15.On a rainy day, stay in your pajamas, put on your favorite movie, and complete a puzzle.
16.Go for an afternoon drive without knowing where you'll end up.
17.Go strawberry picking.
18.Have a date night in, and play your favorite board games.
19. Head somewhere to listen to live music and enjoy a fun dinner together.
20. Splurge and eat at that restaurant you've both been wanting to try
21. Throw on your swimsuits, head outside and wash the car. And if a sexy water fight breaks out? Even better.
22. Light a few candles, throw on something sexy, make out & make love. You heard me.
23. Go tour some of your dream houses, and talk about the future.
24. Pack a picnic and head to the beach.
25. Be tourists in your own town.
26. Research some classes in your area, and learn how to dance!
27. Head to your local IKEA.Walk around, laugh, kiss, be silly. Oh, and eat some Swedish meatballs.
28. If you're both avid movie watchers, head to the drive-in. It'll put a new spin on just going out to the movies.
29. Go and explore a winery.
30. Don't use rain as an excuse to stay inside. Head outside, run around, get wet, and laugh yourselves silly.
31. Can't afford a vacation away? Stay the night a local bed and breakfast in your area.
