The Legend of Zelda games have been around fro 30 years. The world was blessed with the first one in 1986. It is crazy to think of how far we have come with electronics in just 30 years. The original Legend of Zelda game had 2D, 8-bit graphics. Now, we see games with graphics so realistic looking that sometimes you have to do a double take to realize that it is a game not a show. What is so special about the Legend of Zelda games is that we get to see that transformation with every game that comes out. With the release of Ocarina of Time, there were the first 3D graphics used in a Zelda game. This game also used what I like to call "triangle graphics" because everything was made from triangles. After that came the release of the beautiful Twilight Princess game. Players then began to see a Zelda game with smoother graphics allowing for a beautiful scenery and gameplay. After that came Skyward Sword with a bit more updated graphics, but still not HD. Zelda games became HD with the release of the 3DS. Ocarina of Time was remastered for this system which included HD graphics. Following that came a Link Between Worlds and the HD versions of Wind Waker, Majora's Mask, and Twilight Princess.

In between that all came the not-so-classic Zelda game, Hyrule Warriors. Hyrule Warriors is based of a game called Dynasty Warriors. It is Dynasty Warriors gameplay, with Zelda skin. But, this game sparked a lot of discussion among the gaming community. First, it showed that a Zelda game could still be fun without sticking to the classic gameplay of going through countless dungeons. It also had a little bit of voice acting in it. There was a voice that was the Narrator. This showed that a Zelda game could successfully have some sort of voice acting in it. There was also some RPG element added to this such as weapon customization, and skill building. These were some big things to add to a Zelda game, which fans wanted more of.

This brings me to the highly anticipated, upcoming Zelda game, Breath of the Wild. Even the name has a special ring to it. Zelda games have always followed a linear path. The player needs to do things in a specific order, get items at certain times, and has limited exploring options. Well, fans of the game wanted more than that. With RPG games like Skyrim and Dragon Age being as popular as they are, fans wanted the same experience for Zelda. After all, the premise of the Legend of Zelda games would fit very well in an open world. Breath of the Wild is a dream come true. It is an open world Zelda game that is said to be much larger than that of Skyrim. Not to mention there is also some voice acting in it too. Nintendo listened to its fans and decided to go with an open world Zelda game. It is amazing to see how far the game has come in 30 years. The first game started out as a 2D 8-bit game and now there is a Zelda game with astonishing 3D graphics, an open world, and a little bit of that voice acting.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
