I've dealt with anxiety for years now and I often feel overwhelmed by it. I know how annoying it can be to cope with and how sometimes it just comes on unexpectedly and suddenly. I often find myself doing these thirty things to help deal and manage it. I want to share these things with you so if you also suffer from anxiety, maybe at least one of these thirty things can help you too!

1. Listen to music you love

2. Color in a coloring book

3. Write down things you're grateful for

4. Write down your thoughts and feelings (whether it's online or in a Journal)

5. Turn your phone off

6. Take a nap

7. Take a bath

8. Do Ten Minutes of Meditation

9. Go to the gym or do cardio at home

10. Go to bed early

11. Wrap yourself up in blankets

12. Cuddle with your dog or cat (or other pets you may have that like to snuggle)

13. Meditate

14. Try some essential oils if you have some

15. Paint

16. Doodle

17. Take some deep breaths

Try syncing your breathing with this when you're feeling overwhelmed. It may seem insignificant, but it truly does help a lot.

18. Watch a movie

19. Go work a walk (If weather allows for it)

20. Solve a puzzle

21. Read a book

22. Call a trusted friend

23. Do some kind of craft

24. Drink some tea

25. Light a candle

26. Chew some gum

27. Eat some comfort food

28. Make your bed

29. Get a massage or your nails done

30. Get into comfortable clothing

Hopefully at least one of these thirty things can help you out. I used to think that some of these were pointless until I tried it for myself and realized how much they truly do help. Remember, anxiety is only temporary and soon it will be over. Just focus on yourself and know you can do it. I believe in you!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
