1. Netflix and chill... with bae or teddy bear. Or just netflix

2. Go skiing

3. Travel the world before you're next class (or as far as you can, even if it's only to the library)

4. Figure out how to do your laundry then leave it there for 3 days on accident.

5. Join the double dutch team and show 'em who's boss.

6. Make hot chocolate

7. Go buy another fan just because it's hot in your dorm room.

8. Learn how to build a rocket.

9. Watch all seasons of gossip girl.

10. Ask Obama who he is going to vote for, for president.

11. Call your mom.

12. Go to the planetarium.

13. Then call your dad.

14. Listen to the birds.

15. Go to the gym.

16. Take a shower.

17. Take another shower.

18. Take a nap.

19. Read a novel.

20. Play monopoly.

21. Make your bed.

22. Tie your shoes.

23. Have someone hold something for you and walk away. if they try to give it back to you object.

24. Tip the closest person off a chair.

25. Ask the closest person where buildings are that don't exist on your campus

26. Go to McDonalds and ask for a happy meal with extra happy.

27. Blow up a balloon, ask someone to pop it, when they do, start screaming.

28. Call someone to tell them you can't talk right now

29. Make an old lady help you cross the street.

30. Put a bunch of gnomes in your lounge.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
