She tucked you in as a kid, kissed your boo-boos, and now she probably seems like the nagging you hear, even if she isn't around. But don't take your mom for granted. Moms are some of the strongest women in the world. There may never be another type of person in the world who is more worthy of appreciation. As a daughter of a passionate, selfless, and caring mother, I feel that she should be celebrated. Every mother deserves to know that she is appreciated for the sacrifices she makes.

18. For making sure I understood that "woman" does not equal weak.

19. For going through nine months of pregnancy and childbirth (seriously).

20. For reminding me it's OK to cry.

21. For making sure I know the value of family and what it means.

22. For always sending your love, even from miles away.

23. For teaching me the importance of coffee.

24. For loving me, even if I’m sometimes hard to love.

25. For going to every recital, practice, game, or event I was ever in (and being the loudest in the crowd).

26. For always being my friend and my mom.

27. For keeping me sane when times are hectic.

28. For tucking me in bed when I was a child and not complaining when I wanted you to read another book.

29. For loving me unconditionally.

30. And above all else, I want you to know that I thank you for never giving up on my dreams, even if it meant giving up on yours.
