It’s more than likely you went through some sort of Punk/Rock/Teen Angst/Alternative music phase growing up; whether it was in middle school, junior high or high school, you went through it at some point. For me, the phase started way back in middle school and to be completely honest, I never really grew out of it, I just became less obsessed as I grew older.
If you were anything like my middle school friends and I during this phase, your notebooks were decked out in lyrics and pictures of your favorite singers you claimed you were going to marry when you were older, and you begged your parents to take you to your favorite band’s concerts whenever they were in town. There’s really nothing comparable to the passion you felt towards all of these bands at this age or the goosebumps you would get when you fell in love with a new song. Here are 30 songs that will take you back to your pop punk days.
